q: Can I pick up my order?

a: Yes! We offer free pick-up services from 2 locations in Barrie. You may select this option when you check-out. You have the option to pick up from our location near Georgian Mall (North Barrie) at your convenience. The alternative pick-up location is at Locally Yours which is an artisan store at 500 Huronia Road (South Barrie) during their store hours. Once you have made your purchase, keep an eye for an email! You will receive an email once we have your order ready. Don't forget to check your junk mail folder! PLEASE CONTACT US TO ARRANGE YOUR PICK UP LOCATION & TIME: You can DM us on Instagram @themommyattic, message us through the website chat window, OR you may email . You can chose your own pick up day/time but we kindly ask for a minimum of 1 hour of notice before you arrive if picking up from our location. The bag with your name on it will be waiting for you behind the "welcome" sign next to the front door at your chosen time.


q: Where can I find sizing information?

a: Click on the item you are interested in and scroll through the product photos. The last photo will be of the corresponding sizing chart if we have one. We are proud to provide multiple styles and brands of clothing which means they will vary from piece to piece! If you are unsure of what size to order, measure something at home and compare it to our chart for closest match!


q: Why is there a price difference between vinyl and screen printed designs?

a: Both the vinyl work and new screen printed designs are made by this mama! The screen printed designs are made to last even longer. Typically vinyl upholds for approximately 50 washes before showing wear. The embroidery is  professionally done (by a local shop) with design digitalizing and machine costs to upkeep. We have priced our pieces according to how much they cost us to make and how much time goes into them!


q: Can you customize designs?

a: Sometimes! The vinyl work can be customized for an additional cost. We only take on a limited amount of custom work as it can be extra time consuming. Send us a message and we will do our best. We want to hear what you want! If you have any suggestions of pieces you would like to see, please send us your feedback!


q: Why are some sizes not available for some products?

a: It is possible that we have sold out of that particular size and are waiting to restock. We have also been working around supplier issues that has slowed down restocking sizes. We have done our best to provide a range of sizing and colour options. If there is anything missing in your size, please let us know so that we can keep it in mind when we place our next order! Some orders have been placed and have been on back-order due to the Covid pandemic. Thank you for your patience and understanding!


q: How long until my order is ready?

a: In-stock pieces are ready for pick up within 24 hours. Screen printed pieces and vinyl pieces are made to order by this mama (although we keep some in-stock as well) typically take 5 business days to complete. Occasionally we pick up items we had in stock in retail locations to fulfill online orders which can take a couple of days. As we are a small company, things are ready quite quickly. We cannot guarantee shipping dates at this time but are happy to provide you with the courier estimates. We ship using a service that will email you with a parcel tracking number. If you have a specific date you require please contact us and we would be happy to arrange.


q: Washing instructions?

a: For the screen-printed and embroidered design pieces: it is best practice to wash inside out as a precaution (however, I never remember myself). You can machine wash on cold/cool water settings. You can tumble dry on low settings. The items are made with cotton (pre-washed to avoid major shrinkage) and as with all cotton you want to avoid high heat. You can iron and steam them, just avoid ironing directly on the design. For other clothing items: refer to the tag for washing practices.
